Operations Management Services

A practice concerned with how work actually moves.

Natalia Cerednicenco is an independent operations management practice in Chișinău. Engagements are led personally: the person who scopes the work is the person who does the diagnostic and attends the cadence. There is no separate sales desk and no bench of unnamed consultants rotated through the account.

The practice

The office is at Dacia Blvd 35, MD-2060, Chișinău, Republica Moldova. The public website is globasaunittrunty.cc, and enquiries are answered at [email protected]. Work is in English, with companies that already have an operation to describe: a floor, a route, a project pipeline, or a service desk.

The useful unit of work is one flow, chosen with the client. A flow is a family of jobs that should move the same way — a custom order, a delivery round, a maintenance visit, a client case. Mapping the entire company in one visit produces a poster. Designing one flow produces something a team can run on Monday.

A promise the operation cannot see is a promise it will break.

Working rule of the practice

The method

The method has a name because the three parts are easy to separate and then lose. Route without a rule becomes a drawing. A rule without a rhythm becomes a memo. A rhythm without a route becomes another meeting. They are commissioned together, even when the quotation stages the work.

Route

The route is the set of stations a job must pass, in an order the team agrees, with a named waiting state. A station is “done” only when the handoff standard is met. Skipping a station is an exception, and exceptions are visible.

Rule

The rule is the smallest set of decisions that stop the route from being renegotiated in the corridor. Typical rules cover who may promise a date, what information must travel with the job, how full the queue is allowed to get, and who may pull a job forward.

Rhythm

The rhythm is a calendar of short meetings and the single page those meetings look at. The page shows promises, capacity, blockers, and aged exceptions. The meeting exists to compare the page with reality and to change one thing when the comparison fails.

The services are the way this method is bought. The engagement page is the order in which it happens.

Principles

  1. The work is visible, or it is not managed

If the status of a job lives in a private message, the company does not have a status. Visibility is a shared page or a board the meeting can point at.

  2. A promise is a capacity decision

A date is a claim on someone’s future hours. The person who gives the date needs a view of those hours, or a rule that sends the date to someone who has that view.

  3. A handoff needs a standard

Reminding people to “communicate better” fades in a week. A handoff standard says what must be true, what information moves, and who receives the job.

  4. Once the cadence is running, change one rule at a time

A corridor redesign every Friday teaches the team that the route is optional. The end-of-week review may change one rule, write it down, and leave the rest alone until the next review.

  5. The practice should become unnecessary

Installation includes the weeks where the practice attends the meetings. It ends when a named manager can run them. Staying on as a permanent facilitator is a different business, and it is declined.

Values

Specificity
Documents name stations, owners, and times. They avoid slogans the floor cannot use.
The client keeps the system
Templates are written so the client’s managers can edit them after the engagement. The practice keeps its method. The client keeps the operating papers.
Meetings that decide
A meeting with no decision owner is removed from the calendar. The agenda is short enough that people will still attend in a busy week.
Confidentiality
Operating detail shared in an enquiry or an engagement is used to reply and to do the work. This website does not publish client names, logos, or performance claims. The Privacy Policy covers personal data sent through the form.
Plain limits
If the work needs a licence, a legal opinion, or a software implementer, the brief says so. Pretending otherwise wastes the client’s weeks.

Working from Chișinău

Engagements are primarily with companies operating in the Republic of Moldova. Site time is agreed in the quotation and takes place at the client’s operation or at the practice office. Remote sessions cover the time between visits. Travel beyond Chișinău, when the work needs it, is estimated before you accept.

Meetings are arranged by email. The address is the practice office. It is not a walk-in counter, and this site does not publish a public visiting hour.
